What is a Yogini
In a simple (yet incomplete) context, it is a woman who practices yoga.
From a Buddhist perspective it is a Buddhist Spiritual Teacher that has attained certain realizations and control of the senses.
Our interpretation is a combination that applies to the modern-day woman.
A yogini is a woman who may or may not practice yoga, one who may or may not have mastered her senses. But she IS one who has a deep desire to become her most authentic version of herself. Who is determined to grow into her own beliefs, one who is working on aligning her body, mind and spirit. One who not only makes mistakes but continues to get herself back up and try again. And when she screws up or can't find her footing, she searches out resources for guidance, new perspective and awareness. She is a woman that has a yearning for the understanding of herself, the world and the deeper meaning of our existence! And so much more.......
